Connie Britton has adopted a 9-month-old boy named Eyob from Ethiopia, the "American Horror Story" star's publicist said Wednesday.
"I am thanking my lucky stars every day," Britton told the celebrity news Web site.
The former "Friday Night Lights" and "Spin City" star described the first time she held her son as "a wonderful moment of completion."
"I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears," she said. "I was just grinning from ear to ear."
