Conan O'Brien's writing staff is unhappily expecting pay cuts since his new U.S. talk show will run on TBS instead of NBC, sources told the New York Post.

O'Brien left "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" in January in a highly publicized falling-out with NBC. His as-yet-untitled TBS show is to kick off Nov. 8.
"This is no surprise," an insider told the Post about the anticipated pay cuts. "One show was broadcast network; the other is basic cable. It's a different pay scale. It's not just writers; it's everybody."
The newspaper said the Writers Guild of America is still negotiating how much O'Brien's writers will be paid for their work on the new chat series.
