On July 29 Comedy Central will launch "Weekends at the DL" with D.L. Hughley as host, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.
"The Colbert Report" will have "The Daily Show's" Stephen Colbert offering his take on current events and pop culture, much as he does on the Daily Show. And Adam Carolla's will host an as yet-untitled comedy show focusing on the day's events, celebrity interviews and viewer calls.
Both new shows are expected to debut in the fall.
"Our audience comes with us well into the night," said Lauren Corrao, senior vice president for Comedy Central's original programming. "We've got a late-night audience."
