Colton Underwood has revealed his one-on-one date with Cassie Randolph on The Bachelor completely changed their relationship.

From a viewer's perspective, the 23-year-old's relationship with Colton appeared to get off to a bit of a slow start on The Bachelor's 23rd season, as she didn't receive a one-on-one date with Colton until his week in Thailand.

While Cassie and Colton engaged in some sweet kisses and brief conversations during previous group dates, Colton apparently saw the speech-language pathology assistant from Huntington Beach, CA, in a whole new light when they could finally spend a full day together alone.

"The date with Cassie is sort of a great example of, at any moment, a switch can flip and you can really see the dynamic of a relationship change on a one-on-one," Colton told Access.

"That's just sort of what happened on my one-on-one with Cassie. It really just changes the whole dynamic of the relationship and takes it to the next level."

The "next level" might be a bit of an understatement considering fans watched Colton and Cassie make out for the majority of their date in Thailand.

Colton even brought Cassie into his bed in his hotel room during the evening portion of their date.

In fact, Cassie felt the need to comment on her date following Monday night's episode.

"Promise we did a lot more than just make out our entire date," Cassie captioned a sexy photo of the couple.

Colton said reliving his week in Thailand by watching the latest episode -- with all of its ups and downs, including the sudden and unexpected departure of Elyse Dehlbom -- reminded him of "how much of a whirlwind it was."

Colton realized following Elyse's departure that he could get his heart broken despite starring on the franchise and being in charge of the roses.
