ABC has announced former American Idol finalists Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry will all perform during the network's broadcast of the 37th Annual American Music Awards.
"American Idol continually produces great talent, and we are looking forward to hosting Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry and Adam," said producer Larry Klein. "It's a great fit for the AMAs." Underwood and Daughtry have also each received a nomination for a 2009 AMA award -- as the Idol fourth-season champ received her nod in the Favorite Female Country Artist category; while the former Idol fifth-season finalist's band was nominated in the Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist category. For the third year in a row, the AMA's 2009 winners will be determined by online voting conducted via ABC's website. The 37th Annual American Music Awards ceremony will air live on Sunday, November 22 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
