A Florida pastor said members of his church set a world record by gathering 2,150 Nativity scenes in the same place.

Pastor James Brown of the Oasis Church in Pembroke Pines said congregants gathered 2,150 Nativity scenes at the church Saturday in the form of figurines, tapestries, Christmas tree ornaments and crayon-drawn pictures, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Monday.
Brown said three counters and a notary public verified the collection beat the 1,802 Guinness World Record set by an Italian collector.
"We didn't just break the record -- we broke it big," Brown said.
He said paperwork is being submitted to Guinness to make the record official.
