Chris Evans apologizes for 'Captain America' traffic delays
UPI News Service, 06/03/2013
"Captain America" star Chris Evans tweeted an apology to Cleveland motorists stuck in traffic as a result of filming for the super hero movie's sequel.
Evans posted the apology Sunday, two days after filming for "Captain America: Winter Soldier" closed down the West Shoreway in both directions, causing traffic on Interstate 90 and Detroit Avenue to experience backups of more than an hour, WKYC-TV, Cleveland, reported Monday.
"Sorry we're screwing up your traffic, Cleveland!" Evans posted on his Twitter account. "You've been a very gracious host."
The message had been retweeted more than 1,000 times as of Monday morning with many positive responses accepting Evans' apology.
