Some British students have turned thumbs done on some of the school lunch meals inspired by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

One county that is offering the new meals saw a 15 percent drop in the school lunches purchased by its 40,000 primary school students, the Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.
Apparently children don't like meat pies, stews and quiches because the food is mixed together. However, the roast pork, lean chicken fillets and lentil pancakes have fared better, said school caterers.
Most of the new meals are prepared by baking or steaming instead of frying -- and the fat, sugar and salt content has been reduced.
