The Chicago Gospel Festival is to be held in Millennium Park June 3 to 5, becoming the first major festival booked in the new park.

Cindy Gatziolis of the Chicago Mayor's Office of Special Events told the Chicago Tribune headliners for the festival will include: the Williams Brothers, concert pianist Dana Morgan, and the Rance Allen Group.
Also on the bill are Chicago artists Angie Spivey and the Voices of Victory, Mark Hubbard and the United Voices for Christ, and urban psalmist Dana Divine.
Other city festivals, such as Blues Fest, Jazz Fest and Taste of Chicago, will remain at the Petrillo band shell in Grant Park, but the Gospel Festival will move to the more acoustically-friendly Gehry Pavilion in Millennium Park, according to Gatziolis.
