is reportedly the mystery professional dancer whom ABC has yet to officially announce as a member of the Season 25 cast.
Shortly after the lineup of
Season 25 pro partners was announced on Good Morning America
-- all but one dancer --
a source told Entertainment Tonight
that Cheryl will be returning.
Cheryl, 33, is "really excited to return to her roots," the source told ET
. "She doesn't want to let anyone down, so you can expect she will be bringing her A-game every night!"
Cheryl left Dancing with the Stars
after competing with Ryan Lochte
on Season 23 to pursue other projects, such as replacing
Abby Lee Miller on Dance Moms
this year and starring in the Love on the Floor
However, Love on the Floor
has been postponed until 2018, so now Cheryl has time in her schedule for Dancing with the Stars
The source told ET
that Cheryl's decision to come back to the ABC reality dancing competition also has to do with "better money," an opportunity to enter the spotlight again, and "more consistency."
If Cheryl returns to Dancing with the Stars
, she will be joining the following pro dancers: Mark Ballas
, Maksim Chmerkovskiy
, Peta Murgatroyd
, Val Chmerkovskiy
, Keo Motsepe
, Artem Chigvintsev
, Gleb Savchenko
, Emma Slater
, Sharna Burgess
, Lindsay Arnold
, Witney Carson
, and newbie Alan Bersten
The celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars'
fall edition will be revealed September 6 on Good Morning America

for the new season -- Property Brothers
star Drew Scott and Total Divas
star Nikki Bella

Cheryl joined Dancing with the Stars
back in Season 2 when she was partnered with Drew Lachey
. Cheryl became the first female pro to win Dancing with the Stars
and the first pro in general to win twice, as she also won Season 3 with Emmitt Smith
Cheryl took a three-season hiatus
after Season 19 and returned for DWTS'
23rd season, when she and Ryan Lochte
finished in seventh place.
Other than winning two mirrorball trophies, Cheryl has racked in two second-place finishes and three third-place finishes on Dancing with the Stars
Cheryl also tested her performance skills on I Can Do That
, an NBC show that aired only one season in 2015. Cheryl finished the show in second place, losing to Nicole Scherzinger
