Charlie Sheen transported to hospital with severe abdominal pains

Charlie Sheen was transported by ambulance from his home to an undisclosed hospital early Thursday, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

"He was having severe abdominal pains and went to the hospital," Sheen's representative confirmed to UsMagazine.com.

No other details regarding the actor's ailment or condition were immediately reported. UsMagazine said he has not yet been discharged from the hospital.

Sheen, 45, is the star of the sitcom "Two and a Half Men."

He has spent several stints in rehab battling his addictions to drugs and alcohol.
