Charlie Sheen's manager says the U.S. television actor did not go on a drug-fueled "bender" or cavort with prostitutes, as has been reported.

The star of the CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men," who has long battled drug and alcohol addiction, made headlines last week when he was hospitalized after allegedly trashing a hotel room while intoxicated. The actor's representatives later said he had an adverse reaction to medication.
Sheen was arrested last year for allegedly assaulting his wife, after which he spent time in rehab.
Some media reports claimed Sheen was using drugs and spending time with prostitutes this past weekend, however, People.com said his manager has disputed the stories.
"Charlie has not been on a bender despite fabricated Internet reports," Mark Burg told the magazine Monday. "I've talked many times to Charlie and I saw him this weekend and he is doing well. ... Charlie had a quiet weekend watching football and he's fine and will be at work tomorrow. Last night, he passed out candy at his house for Halloween and tomorrow he's looking forward to getting back to the show."
