Charlie Sheen's lawyer insists the troubled Hollywood actor has been speaking to Warner Bros. about returning to his sitcom "Two and a Half Men."

Sheen, who was fired from the show because of his erratic behavior and substance abuse, is suing its producers for $100 million for alleged breach of contract.

The actor's attorney, Marty Singer, told TMZ Thursday the studio's allegations that there were "no discussions" about Sheen getting his job back are "absolutely false."

"There have been discussions as late as Tuesday, and all parties have been involved -- Warner Bros., CBS, [series creator] Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen," Singer told TMZ. "Charlie Sheen was recently approached by a third party to resolve this matter. ... Charlie did not lie about the discussions. There were discussions."

TMZ published a letter Thursday from Warner Bros. to Singer, claiming Sheen's statements during a radio interview that he is in talks to return to the show are false.

"As you know, there have been no discussions, there are no discussions and there will be no discussions, regarding his returning to or having any involvement with the series," the Warner Bros. letter said.
