Charlie Sheen announces 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth' live stage tour

Charlie Sheen says he is planning a string of stage performances called "Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option."

The Hollywood Reporter said Sheen announced the show Thursday via Twitter.

So far, an April 2 appearance in Detroit and an April 3 stop in Chicago have been scheduled.

A description of the show reads: "I'm going on the road. LIVE. Will there be surprises? Will there be guests? Will there be mayhem? Will you ask questions? Will you laugh? Will you scream? Will you know the truth? WILL THERE BE MORE?!?!
This IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock. Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Sheen has been battling an addiction to drugs for some time and has given numerous high-profile interviews in the past few weeks, during which he ranted about his employers at "Two and a Half Men," his family and various ex-girlfriends, joked about his substance abuse, and bragged about his own importance.

His erratic behavior prompted the producers of his show to cancel the rest of this season, then fire him. It is unclear whether the show will continue without Sheen.

The actor filed a $100 million lawsuit against his former bosses this week for breach of contract.

Sheen's longtime publicist quit recently, while the actor's estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, requested a restraining order against him and his children were removed by police from his home.
