U.S. actor Charlie Sheen has announced he will continue to star in the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" for two more years.

Sheen's contract expired last month as he and the rest of the cast wrapped the show's seventh season. He said at the time the series' producers had not met his demands to return for future seasons, leaving the future of "Men" up in the air.
"To put a fitting end on the 2 1/2 months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights," People.com quoted Sheen as saying in a statement Tuesday.
