Chad Johnson has apparently begun to understand why he's been viewed as such a polarizing character on The Bachelorette starring JoJo Fletcher.

"So I finally watched the show at my sisters.. Holy tits now I understand why some people hate me!" Johnson captioned a recent Instagram video.

But in true Chad fashion, he apparently thinks his questionable behavior on the show was funny.

"Haha but some parts were hilarious too. LOL," he wrote.

The video showed Johnson watching a scene from The Bachelorette in which he told the cameras he was "helping" Fletcher by stealing her away from the "immature" guys in the house. He joked about Fletcher needing a break from them.

Prior to his viewing party with his sister, Tiffany Johnson, the buff suitor tweeted with sarcasm, "I don't watch the shows, so did they show whether I killed someone yet? Or am I still waiting to find out LoL."

Johnson was clearly referring to the show's cliffhanger from two weeks ago in which he's shown walking through the woods after being eliminated by Fletcher to return to the house where the rest of the guys were staying. He eerily slid his fingertips down the door, and viewers were led to believe he was seeking revenge.

Fletcher sent Johnson packing at the end of a two-on-one date with Alex Woytkiw.

"He shows up to the guys' house where we're all staying. And, at the time, I was actually with JoJo. So, I can't comment on what happened. But, I can say that, yes, I was with JoJo at the time," Woytkiw told reporters during a recent conference call of the cliffhanger.

"Alex vanquished the giant, but as you saw, Chad was not about to just pack his protein and head home," Harrison teased in his latest Yahoo! TV blog of the event. Chad had more to say to the guys... [and] he will do exactly that."

Johnson has been labeled the greatest villain in The Bachelorette history. While he's delivered comical one-liners, he threatened to hurt many of the guys in the house. Johnson argued that his violent threats were only a result of the guys ganging up on him.

The Bachelorette's next episode, which will feature Johnson's official departure, airs Monday night at 8PM ET/PT.
