A pair of Boston ex-friends formerly known as the Signature Boys said their collections of celebrity signature tattoos weren't enough to save their friendship.

Donnie Yebba, 39, and David Cannatelli, 41, who appeared under the name the Signature Boys on Howard Stern's radio show a few years ago, got into a physical altercation at a Worcester autograph signing for actress Scout Taylor-Compton after Cannatelli discovered Yebba had given an interview without mentioning his name, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.
Both men have dozens of tattoos they had made from celebrity signatures on their bodies.
"I love the kid like a brother, but he's getting out of hand with this signature thing," Cannatelli said. "I'm very choosy and Donnie isn't. I like to go with people who are more known."
Cannatelli said he would like to reunite with Yebba, but his former friend said their partnership is done for good.
"He's been a copycat of mine for years," he said. "He started seeing the notoriety I was getting and he got a little jealous. If it wasn't for me, he would never be who he is. He ripped me off."
