CBS to revisit 'Knots Landing' with two-hour December 2 reunion show

UPI News Service, 11/27/2005

Actress Michelle Lee says it's her fault the popular primetime soap "Knots Landing" went off the air back in 1993.

"I had written in my contract that I would not be a grandmother on 'Knots Landing'," she said in explaining the demise of the CBS drama after a 14-year run.

Executive producer Michael Filerman agreed, telling Zap2it.com: "That's why we had to go off the air. We figured, 'What else can we do with her?'"

The stars of "Knots Landing" will revisit the Eye Network Friday night for a two-hour reunion.

"Knots Landing Reunion: Together Again" will feature Lee, Joan Van Ark, Donna Mills, William Devane, Kevin Dobson, Ted Shackelford and other stars of the drama series recalling their favorite scenes and the characters they portrayed on the spinoff of "Dallas."
