CBS has pulled the high-profile original movie "Martha: Behind Bars" from its May sweeps schedule, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.

The paper said a CBS spokesman declined to comment on the reasons for the last-minute scheduling change. The movie was put on a fast track when it was first announced in March.
"Martha: Behind Bars" stars Cybill Shepherd in her second performance as lifestyle authority Martha Stewart. She starred in the 2003 movie "Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart."
The new movie will focus on Stewart's criminal trial and five-month stretch at Alderson Federal Prison, including her release last month.
"Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart" was the highest-rated TV movie of the 2002-03 season when it aired on NBC. That film included scenes about the charges that Stewart lied to federal regulators about a 2001 stock sale.
CBS will replace the Stewart film on its May 25 scheduled with "Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution" -- based on a major figure in the murder trial on Scott Peterson.
