Cassie Randolph and Heather Martin reportedly already knew each other prior to joining the cast of The Bachelor's 23rd season starring Colton Underwood!

Heather, a 22-year-old from Carlsbad, CA, and Cassie, a 23-year-old from Huntington Beach, CA, both graduated from Biola University one year apart from each other.
"We were friends with Cassie," a source close to Heather revealed to Life & Style.
"I know when Heather and Cassie saw each other for the first time [in the mansion]... I know Heather was very relieved to see her because it's an overwhelming experience to go on that [show], and they were friends."
Biola University is one of America's most conservative private schools. Alcohol, drugs and sex are all off-limits at the evangelical Christian university, which was founded as Bible Institute of Los Angeles in 1908.
The school's strict regulations and expectations would seem to explain in part why Heather had never been kissed going into The Bachelor season and this week's episode showed Cassie appearing ashamed to publicly disclose she's not a virgin.
Heather graduated from Biola University in 2017, while Cassie earned her degree in 2016.
While the source close to Heather told the magazine Cassie and Heather were never best friends, Heather was "excited" to see Cassie in the mansion on Night 1.

"They were never in the same circle of friends... I don't think that they overlapped too much. But I would consider them friends... Heather did know her," the source said.
The Heather pal also reportedly had nothing but positive things to say about Cassie, who was shown having a steamy one-on-one date with Colton during Monday night's episode in which they made out constantly.

"Cassie's incredibly sweet," the source told Life & Style. "Heather just speaks so highly of all the contestants on The Bachelor."
Heather was also shown enjoying a one-on-one date with Colton in Thailand during the latest episode. She even received her first kiss ever on a beach underneath a sky filled with fireworks.
Luckily, there was no bad blood between Cassie and Heather when The Bachelor was filmed this past fall -- unlike their fellow bachelorettes Hannah Brown and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who previously competed in Miss USA 2018 against each other and went from friends and roommates to rivals and enemies.
