Canadian model Jayde Nicole named Playboy's Playmate of the Year

Jayde Nicole, a 22-year-old Ontario native, has been named Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year, the magazine announced Thursday.

Nicole is Canada's first Playmate of the Year since Shannon Tweed was honored with the title in 1982.
The owner of a modeling agency, Nicole was Playboy's Miss January 2007.
She will appear in a 10-page nude pictorial in Playboy's June issue, which will be on newsstands and available at playboydigital.com Friday.
Along with her title, Jayde received $100,000 in prize money and a 2008 Cadillac CTS, Playboy said.
