NTD Apparel filed the multimillion dollar suit against Susan Duff in Los Angeles Superior Court charging "unlawful, unfair and deceptive business practices" as well, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.
The suit claims Duffs' entertainment company, Rafter H, violated an exclusive merchandising agreement with NTD for Stuff by Hilary Duff by cutting side deals with retailers, the Daily News said.
A spokesman for Rafter H told the Daily News the suit was "without merit" and they were planning their own suit against NTD Apparel for producing low-quality goods.
