A British woman entering a London cake decorating competition created a dessert bearing the likenesses of Price William and fiancee Kate Middleton.
Michelle Wibowo created the cake as part of the Ideal Home Show at London's Earls Court's search for the Ideal Home Cake Decorator of the Year, which encouraged participants to use a royal wedding theme, The Mirror reported Monday.
Wibowo, who runs her own company, Sugarart, said the traditional English fruit cake is carved into 3D busts with an armature inside and is covered with apricot jam.
The cake is scheduled to go on display with other entries Wednesday.
"I used this cake competition as a great opportunity to do something different, other than the usual traditional decorated round tiered cake people normally expect for a wedding cake. It was really a challenge for me to do this cake. It's hard work, but I really enjoyed making it," Wibowo said.
