A group of young women -- sexy but clothed -- have released a 2007 calendar featuring pictures of themselves visiting New York landmarks.

The Brooklyn Calendar Girls have sold 150 calendars, which depict one girl per month standing in front of a landmark, on their Web site, Brooklyncalendargirls.com, the New York Daily News reported. The $15 calendars, which will soon be available in stores, feature such landmarks as the Brooklyn Bridge and Prospect Park.

"Everyone seems kind of shocked, I think, because they thought it was going to be a little more calendar-ish -- a little more risque than it actually is," Jennifer Baker, one of the calendar's creators, told the newspaper. "We kept it sexy, but with clothes on."

Baker said not everyone is happy with the attention the calendars are getting.

"A couple (of the girls) have boyfriends, but most of them are single," Baker told the Daily News. "The boyfriends aren't too happy about the attention from the calendar, but they're dealing with it."
