Brittany Murphy and her husband's former Hollywood Hills home will be auctioned Monday, according to court documents.

TMZ.com said Sunday the 8,000-square-foot home where the actress and her husband both died was put on the market unsuccessfully with an asking price of $7.25 million and an unpaid mortgage of more than $4 million.
Murphy died in 2009.
Her husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead in the residence last year, about seven weeks after Murphy's mother had put it up for sale.
