British reality TV star Jade Goody was the subject of angry calls by a Sri Lankan angry that Goody was welcomed in India after making racist comments.

A London-based Sri Lankan, calling herself Prasantika, called the hotel in Delhi where Goody stayed during her four-day trip, telling hotel staff she was irate that Goody was staying there, the Press Trust of India said Thursday.

Hotel staff said the caller wanted the hotel to cancel Goody's room reservation because of racist comments she made to Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty when the women were on the British reality show "Celebrity Big Brother."

Goody was greeted by protesters Wednesday when she visited a children's home in Delhi, where residents surrounded her car, banged on the windows and shouted at her.

Goody donated $50,000, part of the money she earned on "Celebrity Big Brother" to a non-government organization.
