Brazilian soccer star Ronaldo linked to transvestite prostitutes

Brazilian soccer star Ronaldo has been implicated in a sex scandal involving three transvestite prostitutes, according to police officials.

The 2002 star of Brazil's World Cup reportedly was threatened with extortion by one of the crossing-dressing males after discovering his true gender, O Globo reported Tuesday.

Ronaldo admitted to picking up the three prostitutes and said one of the men demanded $30,000.

The Brazilian player, who is on the AC Milan squad, is in Rio de Janeiro rehabbing from knee surgery.
