Brad Pitt says he was blindsided by 'Vanity Fair' magazine cover
UPI News Service, 11/01/2006
U.S. actor Brad Pitt was reportedly surprised to learn that he will be featured on the cover of the December issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
The Web site TMZ.com reported that Pitt had agreed to the photo shoot by artist Robert Wilson more than one year ago, but was unaware that the pictures would find their way to Vanity Fair's high-profile cover.
Representatives for Vanity Fair told TMZ that a letter was sent to Pitt in care of Brillstein-Grey, his management firm, informing him that one of the images from the shoot would be featured in the upcoming magazine. However, a source said Pitt never saw the letter.
Pitt's lawyers are looking into the matter and weighing their legal options.
