Brad Pitt, whose wife Jennifer Aniston has filed for divorce, has purchased a three-bedroom, four-bathroom home in Malibu, Calif.

Pitt, who costars in the upcoming movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with Angelina Jolie, has purchased a recently refurbished house on three acres for $8 million, real estate sources told the Los Angeles Times.

The property has ocean views, as well as a tennis court, a pool and stairs leading to a secluded beach.

After Pitt and Aniston were married in Malibu in 2000, they bought a house for $13.5 million built for actor Fredric March in the 1930s.

Pitt and Aniston also own other houses in the Los Angeles area.
