The former Beverly Hills, Calif., home of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston has been bought for $22.5 million by an "anonymous foreign businessman."

The 12,000-square-foot mansion had sat on the market for nearly a year and the former couple recently agreed to lower their $28 million asking price, People magazine reported Wednesday.
Aniston, 37, and Pitt, 42, bought the house for $13.5 million in 2001 and spent an estimated $10 million to $15 million renovating the home.
