Brooks & Dunn and Sugarland each received four ACM nominations while newcomer Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts chalked up four nods apiece.

New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi received their first ACM nomination for "Who Says You Can't Go Home," their duet with with Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles.

Three of Paisley's nominations are shared with veteran Dolly Parton for their song "When I get Where I'm Going" off his "Time Well Wasted" album.

Rascal Flatts' nods include both entertainer of the year and album of the year, making it the only act to get nods in the two top categories.

The other entertainer of the year contenders are Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, last year's top male vocalist Keith Urban and last year's entertainer of the year, Kenny Chesney.

The ACM Awards ceremony will be aired live by CBS May 23 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
