Bon Jovi will be the first rock band to perform at the new theater as part of a multimedia blast off for its new album "Have a Nice Day" Sept. 19, Billboard.com reported.
Network Live -- the joint venture between America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG -- is producing the event, Billboard said.
While Network Live broadcasts the concert to AOL members via the Internet and XM radio subscribers, the concert will be beamed live to more than 100 movie theaters in 50 cities across the United States.
"Have a Nice Day" hits stores Sept. 20, the same day Island Records will release a DualDisc CD/DVD edition of Bon Jovi's 1986 hit album, "Slippery When Wet."
