Former U.S. President Bill Clinton plans to make his third appearance on the satirical news program, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."

Clinton is set to be a guest on the Sept. 20 show, Comedy Central announced Thursday.
Other politicians who have appeared on show include former President Jimmy Carter, former Vice President Al Gore and numerous U.S. senators -- including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Kerry, John McCain, Arlen Specter and Ted Kennedy. The guest list has also included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., announced his intention to run for the 2004 Democratic Presidential nomination during a 2003 appearance on the show. Gen. Pervez Musharraf, president of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, was Stewart's guest Sept. 26, 2006, marking the first time a sitting head of state had appeared on the show.
