Billboard reported that Knowles' track garnered the No. 1 spot on the magazine's Hot 100 for the third week in a row and her top position on the Pop 100 marked her second week atop the list.

Following Knowles, whose track also was tops on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, on the Hot 100 was U.S. rapper Akon whose hits "I Wanna Love You" and "Smack That" took second and third respectively.

Pop singer Fergie fell to fourth on the list with "Fergalicious," singer Justin Timberlake's "My Love" held at fifth, while "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado kept the list's sixth slot.

Notable new entries into the Hot 100 this week included the Fray's holiday cover of singers John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy X-Mas (War is Over)" at 50th and "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" from Fall Out Boy at 81st overall.
