Ben Higgins and fiancee Lauren Bushnell have agreed to televise their wedding.

Freeform's Tuesday night episode of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? featured The Bachelor host Chris Harrison approaching Ben and Lauren with some big news they had to discuss.

"You guys are so beloved, as you know. Everybody still keeps up with your story and wants to know what's going on with Ben and Lauren. Everyone wants to continue to watch this love story unfold, and so, we would like to televise your wedding to the world," Chris revealed.

"We want to air your wedding on primetime TV so that millions and millions and millions of your fans can watch you guys on your special day."

Lauren appeared absolutely delighted by the offer and flashed a big smile, but Ben admitted he felt overwhelmed. It was written all over his face that his mind was clouded with doubts and concerns.

Harrison offered a "big checkbook to work with, a wedding planner" and bonuses most brides don't have.

"This can be everything you want it to be -- on steroids," Chris noted.

Ben asked Chris if the wedding would still feel genuine or whether he might end up regretting turning his big day with Lauren into another TV spectacle.

"It really will be as intimate and family-oriented as you want it to be. All we're going to do is offer you the palette and then you do what you want, really, you paint what you want," Chris explained.

But Ben was freaking out, telling the cameras in a confessional, "My stomach dropped. I have butterflies. My head is spinning. It's a lot really soon."

Ben vented to Chris that he feels stressed out because his life is all about "timelines" at this point. Chris said the reality is that they need to talk to their family and friends but make the decision "pretty soon," which made Ben feel anxious.

Lauren couldn't help but think Ben's hesitation meant he didn't want -- or wasn't ready -- to marry her. She wanted him to be excited, just like she was.

Ben and Lauren spoke to friends about the offer, but it was ultimately their decision to make. Ben just worried he was rushing the biggest events in his life, as even his engagement went down a matter of weeks after meeting Lauren for the first time.

At the end of the episode, Ben and Lauren sat down at a restaurant to chat about the possibility of televising their wedding.

"Do you think we should do it?" Ben asked.

"I mean, I do, but I saw your face right when he asked us and you looked completely overwhelmed," Lauren explained.

"You gotta understand why. It's not you. I don't have any doubt I want to marry you. My question the whole time has just been about timing. Will it allow us enough time to be engaged and explore that season of life?" Ben explained.

"Are you worried that because it's going to be televised it's not going to be our day?" Lauren asked.

"Of course I'm concerned," Ben replied. "I want to make sure it's about us. I want to make sure it's about our family and friends, the people that have raised us. That concerns me. I don't want any moment of this to ever feel impersonal. That's not what I want."

After exchanging a few laughs, Lauren opened up to her fiance.

"I didn't even think about all that. I just thought, 'Oh my gosh, I get to marry Ben!'" Lauren confessed.

Ben then realized it made no sense to feel all of these nerves and uncertainty, so he told the love of his life, "I want to do it. I want to marry you. I want the world to see that you and I will be spending forever together."

"Me too," Lauren noted.

"We're getting married!" the couple told the cameras simultaneously.

"The fact we have a timeline now and there is kind of this countdown to our wedding, it just feels totally different. It's exciting. It makes me think even more than I already do about our future together, about what our life will be like and how special that day will be when I do get to marry Ben," Lauren said.
