U.S. cable network Syfy said Wednesday it is ordering a 13-episode third season of its supernatural drama series "Being Human."

The announcement was made by Mark Stern, Syfy's president of original content and co-head of original content for Universal Cable Productions.
Season 2 of the show started Jan. 16.
"With the success of Season 2, 'Being Human' has become a premier destination for Syfy viewers," Stern said in a statement.
"Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke have taken this series to new heights this year and we're excited to see where the third season will go."
"Being Human" stars Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath and Sam Huntington as vampire Aidan, ghost Sally and werewolf Josh who share the creature comforts of home in a Boston brownstone.
