Barbara Walters: Overflowing toilet interrupted Miley Cyrus visit

"The View" co-host Barbara Walters said her recent visit to the family home of U.S. pop singer Miley Cyrus was interrupted by an overflowing toilet.

Walters said that the visit, which was to be part of her televised Oscar special, started off on the wrong foot when the Cyrus family's toilet overflowed and the malfunction led to additional plumbing mishaps, People magazine reported Friday.

"The day that we got there, the toilet in their house overflowed," Walters said.

"When one overflowed, the whole plumbing system went wrong in the house, and all the toilets overflowed."

Walters said the "Hannah Montana" singer and her family were understanding about the incident, despite the fact Walters' large crew of workers may have been to blame.

People said the singer's family presented Walters with a golden figurine in the shape of a toilet bowl complete with the inscription: "So you'll always remember the Cyrus family."
