Bachelor in Paradise will feature some big changes this summer, according to ABC executive Robert Mills, after the success of The Bachelor Winter Games.

Bachelor in Paradise is set to return with its fifth season later this year, and Robert told E! News that fans can expect to see some new, exciting format and cast changes.

"There were a lot of learnings from Winter Games, where it wasn't a show where you were bringing in people every week," Robert said.

"There will certainly be the hallmarks of Bachelor in Paradise, but I think we will definitely take into account the stuff from Winter Games, where it definitely seemed to form some really strong couples, and at the end of the day that's the goal."

The Bachelor Winter Games wrapped with four couples: Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy, Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt, Courtney Dober and Lily McManus, and Benoit Beausejour-Savard and Clare Crawley.

Clare and Benoit actually got engaged during the reunion special, which aired in late February. Ashley and Kevin, on the other hand, recently announced their split.

Since fan-favorite bachelors and bachelorettes from the American version of the franchise hit it off with international contestants, such as from Canada and Sweden, producers apparently want to introduce this element to Bachelor in Paradise.

"I definitely think you'll see some international faces, but not sure how many or where they are going to come from," Robert told the website, adding they are hoping to cast "people that you're familiar with from Winter Games unless there are [other international contestants] that are absolutely fantastic."

Some standouts from Winter Games included Nastassia Yaramchuk from Sweden, Jordan Mauger from New Zealand, and Yuki Kimura from Japan.

And per usual, Bachelor in Paradise 5 will feature contestants who got dumped by Arie Luyendyk Jr. on The Bachelor's latest season as well as suitors who don't win the heart of Becca Kufrin, The Bachelorette's upcoming Season 14 star, this spring.

"I think we're really lucky because we're coming off such a strong season, both seeing the guys who are going to be on Becca's season, too, they're absolutely fantastic," Robert explained.

"I think you're going to have great men and women from these previous seasons, as well as some people from the past. Sometimes it takes some distance for people we've always wanted to do it to be able to do it. I'm excited, I think this is going to be a great cast."

There also may be a new bartender thrown into the mix in Mexico, taking over Wells Adams' position at Playa Escondida.

"I think you're going to see some [surprises] behind the bar," Robert noted. "Let's just say that."
