Bachelor in Paradise is nearing its end considering Week 5 of 2019 season is right around the corner.

Viewers have watched many singles come and go since the season premiered, but according to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, seven couples remained by the end of the fifth Rose Ceremony.

The couples who emerged following the fifth Rose Ceremony of Bachelor in Paradise were Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty, John Paul Jones and Tayshia Adams, Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin, Clay Harbor and Nicole Lopez-Alvar, Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton, Matt Donald and Brianna "Bri" Barnes, and Chase McNary and Angela Amezcua.

While Matt, Bri, and Chase haven't been part of the Bachelor in Paradise episodes that have aired so far, they will be arriving in the upcoming broadcasts.

As for Angela, her entrance into Paradise was briefly shown at the very end of Bachelor in Paradise's August 27 broadcast.

Which Bachelor in Paradise couples get engaged on the finale who broke up?

There was a huge turning point in the dating process when Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison confronted the cast after Rose Ceremony No. 5 was filmed in late June and told the couples they must make a serious decision.

Chris gave each couple an opportunity to enjoy an overnight Fantasy Suite date in Mexico -- but only if they saw themselves getting engaged or at least continuing to date once the show wrapped filming.

Like in previous seasons, Chris extended this invitation to serious couples who were falling in love and saw real potential in their romances.

According to Carbone, John Paul and Tayshia broke things off and chose not to take advantage of a Fantasy Suite date.

Carbone believes Tayshia was the one who had decided to end their fun and playful relationship.

Matt and Bri also reportedly chose to go their separate ways instead of taking their relationship to the next level. Carbone reported Bri was the one who broke up with Matt.

And Chase and Angela also decided to call it quits on their romance, according to Carbone, who claimed Chase opted to dump Angela and leave Paradise single.

The following four couples therefore chose to enjoy Fantasy Suite dates, according to Carbone: Demi and Kristian, Dylan and Hannah, Clay and Nicole, and Chris and Katie.

While Clay and Nicole appeared to be the strongest couple in Paradise for a while, Carbone reported the overnight date changed everything for this pair.

"On 'Decision Day,' Nicole breaks up with Clay because he won't tell her he's in love with her/won't propose. So they leave broken up," Carbone wrote in his July 23 spoilers.

But the other three couples reportedly all got engaged during the sixth-season finale of Bachelor in Paradise!

Season 6 will therefore tie the record for most engagements in a Bachelor in Paradise season, as Season 3 of the series also ended with three engagements.

According to Carbone, Dylan and Hannah G. got engaged, as did Chris and Katie.

In addition, the franchise's first-ever, same-sex couple -- Demi and Kristian -- also left Paradise engaged.

So what happened to these lovebirds once they returned home from Paradise and got back into the real world?

Bachelor in Paradise's sixth-season reunion special filmed on Tuesday, August 27 and each couple provided an update on the current status of their relationship since leaving Mexico earlier this summer.

Are Hannah and Dylan still engaged and together?

Hannah competed on Colton Underwood's edition of The Bachelor earlier this year before making her way into Paradise.

The content creator and model from Birmingham, AL, made it to Fantasy Suites but was dumped before she could enjoy the night with Colton because he had his heart set on the season's eventual winner, Cassie Randolph.

Dylan just appeared on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, but the tech entrepreneur from California didn't make it very far. He was sent packing by Hannah in Riga, Latvia.

Hannah and Dylan sparked a connection right off the bat on Bachelor in Paradise, but then Hannah found herself in a love triangle with Dylan and Blake.

Dylan was completely vulnerable with Hannah and never failed to express his feelings and emotions, but Blake seemed to excite Hannah and give her a challenge that attracted her to him.

It seemed Hannah viewed Dylan as the safe choice and Blake as a mysterious possibility.

But Hannah and Blake already had history.

Hannah and Blake spent time together in Birmingham one week before Bachelor in Paradise started filming, but Hannah apparently couldn't get over Blake's player past and therefore chose to move forward in the process with Dylan.

Hannah and Dylan were then inseparable for the rest of the season. While Dylan has already admitted he's falling for Hannah, spoilers claim Hannah grows to fall in love with him as well.

Of the three couples who got engaged in Paradise, Carbone predicted in late July Hannah and Dylan will last and actually get married considering their relationship in Mexico was sincere and passed some serious tests.

And according to Bachelor Spoilers Instagram account, Dylan and Hannah are reportedly still going strong!

Hannah reportedly shared on the reunion special that she plans to move from Alabama to Los Angeles, CA, in order to be closer to Dylan.

Are Chris and Kate still together and engaged?

Chris initially found fame way back on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette, but he got rejected when Emily determined her Final 3 bachelors.

Chris later returned for Season 3 of Bachelor Pad and then crashed Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette. But Andi chose not to let Chris join her cast of guys since he had developed a player reputation from his time on Bachelor Pad.

Chris then appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, but he only lasted several weeks on each season.

Chris famously announced his "retirement" from The Bachelor franchise in 2015, but he apparently had a change of heart and decided to do the show again.

Katie, a medical sales representative from Sherman Oaks, CA, appeared on Season 23 of The Bachelor starring Colton and finished in eighth place.

Chris B. and Katie didn't get together until the cocktail party that preceded the second Rose Ceremony of the season.

During that Rose Ceremony, Katie decided to give her rose to Chris.

Katie and Chris' connection appeared to deepen quickly, as Chris has said he has no interest in getting to know another woman in Paradise and Katie has gushed about how her man "rocks" and she couldn't believe he was still single after so many attempts on the show.

However, Katie found herself sabotaging her relationship once things got serious. She gave Chris her blessing to explore other options in Paradise, which resulted in Chris going on a date with the beautiful Jennifer Saviano.

Chris was just hoping to be exclusive with Katie at the time, but Jennifer surprised him and Chris found himself crushing on two wonderful women at once.

However, Chris ultimately chose to be with Katie and the couple reportedly rode out the rest of Paradise together all the way to the end.

According to Bachelor Spoilers Instagram account, Katie reportedly came onstage at the reunion special not wearing her engagement ring, but they are still very much engaged!

Bachelor Spoilers revealed, "Katie says it has been difficult" but Chris "promises to do better," and so Katie put her ring back on by the end of the reunion special.

Are Kristian and Demi still together and engaged?

Demi was a bachelorette from Colton's The Bachelor edition. She finished in ninth place and made waves in the house with her confident and forward personality as well as her aggressive approach to dating the then-virgin bachelor.

Carbone said he first heard Demi was bisexual all the way back in January when Colton's season was airing.

Carbone claimed to have received pictures of Demi kissing another woman, but he had no intention of outing Demi at the time.

Demi reportedly met Kristian through fellow The Bachelor contestant Catherine Agro, as Catherine and Kristian were roommates. Demi and Kristian allegedly began dating in February.

As Carbone was prepping his spoilers for the new Bachelor in Paradise season, he heard Demi had a girlfriend whom she was planning to introduce to the world on the show. Carbone later received confirmation Demi's girlfriend left for filming.

"All this of Kristian coming on the show was pre-planned," Carbone alleged in a June 18 blog posting.

"Demi talked about it with producers, she knew Kristian was gonna be brought in after filming had started, and she wanted to use the show as an outlet to come out as bisexual. They're not having Kristian battle over other men for Demi or anything like that. They are there and they are a couple."

Carbone said at the time Bachelor in Paradise would be "The Demi Show" for a while and producers and Demi would both exploit the same-sex relationship given the franchise has never seen it before.

"You can bet your ass ABC loves this and will scream it from the rooftops how ground breaking it is for their show to have a same sex couple on it," Carbone wrote last month.

"That's why they're allowing it and seemingly not caring about any sort of rules for the show."

Demi confirmed in late July she is romantically attracted to and interested in women on social media shortly after a Bachelor in Paradise preview aired on ABC and showed Demi straddling and kissing another woman in bed.

"Spoiler alert: I'm a queer queen," Demi tweeted along with #BachelorInParadise and emojis of a rainbow, a queen and two hearts.

Demi and Kristian were recently shown enjoying their first date in Paradise, during which Demi swore she would commit herself to their relationship.

"I finally found not only myself, but I've found what my heart wants, and I feel so sure about it. I want to commit to you, and I've never wanted to commit to someone like this before," Demi told Kristian.

ABC previously teased Demi and Kristian's blossoming relationship status by airing a promo clip in which Demi said in a confessional, "I know that I love this girl. I'm just so happy that I found her, and I can definitely picture being with her for the rest of my life."

In addition, Demi's voice could be heard saying, "I smell an engagement, and it feels amazing," in the trailer.

According to Bachelor Spoilers Instagram, Demi and Kristian are still together, happy and engaged!

Kristian reportedly gave Demi an engagement ring on the reunion show so they could both share the experience.

John Paul and Tayshia got back together

Tayshia and John Paul had a fun and playful connection in Paradise, but Tayshia found herself torn once Derek Peth became available.

Tayshia and Derek slowly formed a romantic connection, as well as a steamy kiss, as John Paul fell harder and harder for Tayshia.

John Paul's emotions bubbled over at Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone's wedding and so he confronted Derek about allegedly trying to use Tayshia and being on the show to promote his podcast and gain more Instagram followers.

Tayshia found herself stuck in a love triangle, but Derek allegedly left the show following another argument with John Paul, according to Carbone.

Carbone wrote in his July spoilers that Tayshia ended up taking John Paul's side in the fight and so Derek quit Paradise in tears.

Tayshia and John Paul were then reportedly tied at the hip until it became time for Fantasy Suites, which is when Tayshia came down with a case of cold feet.

At the reunion special, John Paul and Tayshia revealed that although they left Paradise before the overnight dates, they eventually got back together and are now dating, according to Bachelor Spoilers.

Tayshia reportedly said she regretted breaking up with John Paul before their Fantasy Suite date.

After the pair left Paradise single, Tayshia admitted she showed up at John Paul's house to hash things out, and then they rekindled their romance.

Bachelor Spoilers claim Tayshia and John Paul are now going strong.
