Bachelor in Paradise couple Brittany Galvin and Tyler Norris just sparked a romance during "The Split" on Season 8, and now they're hoping to strengthen their connection on the beach, so what happens next? Do Brittany and Tyler end up together -- and maybe even ultimately get engaged -- or do they break up? And what is the status of their relationship now?

Brittany had a rocky path to winning Tyler's heart on Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season.

Brittany went on a date with Peter Izzo, but she accused the bachelor of being more into himself than he seemed into her. She thought he talked way too much about his good looks, charm and pizza business.

When Peter clearly felt rejected, he told the other guys on the beach how Brittany was allegedly on the show for the wrong reasons and wanted to date a guy with a large Instagram following.

Once the drama died down, Brittany made a connection with Andrew Spencer, who had been dumped not long beforehand by Teddi Wright.

Brittany and Andrew hit it off, but then "The Split" twist separated them for a week and tested their connection. When Brittany was swept off to a nearby hotel, she was introduced to five newcomers, including Tyler.

Shanae Ankney took Tyler out on a fun and sexy date, but while the pair had a great time, Shanae was still thinking about Logan Palmer -- and Tyler had Brittany in the back of his mind.

Brittany also thought Tyler was nice and attractive, and so she decided to "go for" him, following her heart and her gut.

Tyler told Brittany that he thought she was beautiful, sweet and genuine, and Brittany told the bachelor that she liked him a lot and had butterflies in her stomach for him.

Tyler said he felt "the wow factor" with Brittany, which is something he had been missing on his date with Shanae.

Brittany and Tyler then discussed breaking up with Andrew and Shanae, respectively, and they made out by the pool.

Once Shanae found out, she was very upset and called Tyler "a liar," especially since she had been aiming to hook up with him a day or so earlier.

But Tyler had his sights set on Brittany, and the pair later reunited on the Paradise beach.

Brittany proceeded to break up with Andrew, who was more interested in Jessenia Cruz anyway.

Brittany said she received validation and clarity from Tyler, and so she wanted to pursue a romance with him going forward. Andrew said he was happy for her and felt no ill will towards her, and they hugged it out.

Tyler gushed to the cameras about how he saw something real with Brittany, and Brittany believed Tyler was a good, pure and special man.

"Paradise is finally working for me, and I hope we can keep progressing our relationship," Brittany said in a confessional.

But suddenly, Jessenia pulled Tyler aside for a chat, and Brittany said the move felt "malicious." After all, there had been tension between "the old and the new girls" after "The Split" twist, according to Aaron Clancy and Jacob Rapini.

Jessenia, however, didn't succeed in wooing Tyler, and Brittany gave Tyler her rose at the third Rose Ceremony of the season.

So did Brittany and Tyler's relationship work out or did they break up in Bachelor in Paradise?

According to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, Brittany and Tyler continued dating in Paradise and only had eyes for each other.

Instead of getting engaged during the Season 8 finale, however, Brittany and Tyler decided to leave the Bachelor in Paradise resort together and still dating.

The pair agreed to test out their romance in the real world, but Carbone reported things didn't work out for the couple and they eventually broke up after returning home.

Tyler and Brittany reportedly called it quits on their relationship at some point over the summer.

"[They] left as a couple, but have since broken up," Carbone wrote in a blog post on September 27.
