Bachelor in Paradise participant Joshua Albers is slamming producers for portraying him as a party animal and drug addict.

Albers was shown talking about taking Molly and waking up in Las Vegas without any cash or memories during Sunday night's episode. He also told a story about a Los Angeles club that sells coconuts filled with the drug for $30.

However, Albers told TMZ he was simply relaying a story that a crew member had told him -- and it wasn't about himself.

"I don't know how Bachelor In Paradise producers sleep at night," Albers noted.

Although he admitted to trying Molly one time, Albers said producers edited him on Bachelor in Paradise to look really bad. So bad in fact, he was worried his parents would be mad and so he called them after the broadcast aired to explain.

"It wasn't too bad because they know the effect of editing," Albers told TMZ of his parents. "Plus, they know that if it was as big a deal as they made it out to be, there would have certainly been footage of [JJ Lane] running his mouth about it."

Thankfully for the welder from Idaho, his parents believe him and are taking his side.

"They know their baby boy better than that," Albers added.

Albers said he knew what he was getting himself into by signing up for a reality TV show, but at the same time, he was shocked about how far producers took things.
