Bachelor in Paradise couple Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert reportedly had a commitment ceremony but are not legally married, although the couple has been teasing fans in recent weeks that they're husband and wife.

Instead, Caelynn and Dean reportedly had a "commitment ceremony" while traveling abroad.

"[The ceremony] really brought their relationship to a new level," the source said.

Caelynn and Dean have teased on social media and in interviews they tied the knot, but according to the source, "They are trying to really hype it up and troll fans."

Caelynn and Dean's relationship seemed to move in a serious direction late last year after the former beauty pageant queen stayed by Dean's side when he was hospitalized in the Swiss Alps following a serious skiing accident.

Caelynn apparently traveled to Switzerland to pick Dean up from the hospital and take care of him as he recovered from a dislocated hip, fractured femur and surgery that required four screws to be put inside his body.

Since then, the pair returned to the United States but continued their adventures, stopping in California's Yosemite National Park and Oregon's Mirror Lake Loop Trail.

"Close friends of Caelynn and Dean still don't even know if they are legally married," another insider told E! News.

"Some think something special happened after Dean's ski accident. They're very happy and very serious and enjoy the speculation from fans."

Caelynn, for example, hinted she secretly wed Dean on Valentine's Day weekend.

"Life is so much better with you in it. Happy Valentine's Day," Caelynn captioned a post of the couple at Yosemite National Park.

When one follower demanded the reality TV stars "get married," Caelynn replied that they "already did."

And on Sunday, Dean shared a few sweet Instagram photos of the pair at Mirror Lake Loop Trail.

"Don't you know happiness isn't a place, it's a road you take," he captioned the slideshow, after which Caelynn commented on the post, "Best honeymoon ever."

Dean also recently posted an Instagram Story of himself shaving, and a ring could be seen on his ring finger. (However, it was on his right hand).

Dean and Caelynn began dating on Bachelor in Paradise 6 last summer after she had competed for Colton Underwood's heart on The Bachelor's 23rd season.

Dean previously gushed to Us Weekly his relationship with Caelynn is "monumentally different" from other women he's dated in the past. Dean was previously linked to Kristina Schulman, Danielle Lombard and Lesley Murphy from The Bachelor world alone.

"She's very intelligent and compassionate. I am able to be myself around her and she's able to be herself and that's how we create synergy and build around each other," Dean explained.

"For the first time in my Bachelor franchise relationship history, I feel like I'm able to say what I want, do what I want and allow my partner to build with me while I'm doing that."

Dean, however, admitted in December 2019 getting married to Caelynn is not in the cards for them.

"That's never going to happen," Dean told Us at the time.

"She does joke around about us getting married all the time, and I always say, 'Sorry, it's not going to happen.' I don't know, I'm super unconventional and she obviously is a little more conventional."

"We joke around about it," he added. "Just try to keep expectations to a minimum, you know? Like I said on the show, underpromise, overdeliver."
