Axl Rose keeps Guns n' Roses fans waiting, then leaves after 4 songs

Only die-hard Guns n' Roses fans caught the heavy metal band's complete performance in Dublin, where the band left the stage after playing only four songs.

GNR frontman Axl Rose, known for his unpredictable behavior, kept fans waiting for nearly 5 hours before appearing, then stormed off with bandmates when the crowd, upset by the wait, booed and threw items at the stage, the Evening Herald in Dublin reported Thursday.

After just two songs, Rose threatened to leave. He made good on his promise two songs later, at the end of "Welcome to the Jungle."

There was an announcement that the band was experiencing "technical difficulties" and hundreds of fans left, the Herald reported. Fifteen minutes later, an announcer said, "We are trying to get Axl to come back on stage. Please refrain from throwing things at him." The announcer promised a "great concert" if the audience behaved.

The band eventually returned to the stage, performing for a smaller crowd, ending the concert at 1 a.m.
