Ashley Judd is in talks to star in "Missing," an ABC action series expected to premiere in the fall, Deadline reported.

The show is about a single mother/former CIA agent tracking down her 18-year-old son, who disappears in Italy where he was studying architecture.
Production is scheduled to begin late next month in Rome, Vienna and Prague, Deadline said Monday.
Judd, who had a recurring role on "Sisters," is best known for her work in the films "Kiss the Girls," "A Time to Kill," "Someone Like You," "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" and "De-Lovely."
