A spoof on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" poking fun at the Broward, Fla., Art Guild has led to the firing of its executive director.

Susan Buzzi was let go this week for failing to consult Guild members before appearing on the Comedy Central fake news show, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Friday.
"They called a secret meeting of the board and fired her," board member Kate Barnett told the newspaper. "She wasn't communicating properly with them. I said, 'Go for it. Publicity is publicity.'"
The "Daily Show" bit aired last week joked about controversial Broward artworks on display including one of an Arab sheik having his way with President Bush over an oil barrel and another of Pope Benedict surrounded by Nazi images.
Buzzi said she was surprised by her sudden firing and said the board did not give her an explanation.
