An Arkansas man was arrested after leading police on a chase along local interstates with a casket on top of his car.
Police in Little Rock spotted a black Hummer with a casket attached to its roof parked on the side of an interstate at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and patrol officers approached the driver to ensure everything was OK, KATV reported.
The driver, later identified as 39-year-old Kevin Cholousky, fled police and led the officers on a chase.
Officers pursued Cholousky through a southbound exit and eventually managed to stop him by deploying road spikes, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.
Police spokesman Danny Straessle noted the casket was empty, and Cholousky was arrested and charged with driving with fictitious tags, reckless driving and fleeing a vehicle.
Cholousky was booked into Pulaski County jail and has a court date scheduled for Sept. 26.
