DreamWorks Animation has announced that Angelina Jolie will join the cast of the computer-animated comedy "Kung Fu Panda."

Jack Black, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane are also doing voices for the film, DreamWorks said in a news release.

Jolie and Black are reunited after voicing lead characters together in 2004's animated comedy, "Shark Tale."

"Kung Fu Panda" features Jack Black as Po the Panda, a waiter in a noodle restaurant, and a kung fu fanatic. Unfortunately his body shape doesn't exactly lend itself to kung fu fighting, but he has been named the "Chosen One" who has to fight powerful enemies.

Jolie will voice the character Tigress, a Kung Fu master who joins in training Po the Panda.

Slated for release in May 2008, "Kung Fu Panda" is being directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne.
