British soul singer Amy Winehouse has admitted in a magazine interview that she took drugs while being treated for addiction in rehab earlier this year.

Winehouse checked into an Essex, England, clinic at the urging of her record label after a video image of her allegedly smoking crack cocaine was published in a British tabloid newspaper.
The Daily Telegraph said Winehouse recently admitted she didn't stay at the clinic long and ingested drugs throughout her stay there.
"I've never been to rehab, I mean, done it properly. I'm young, and I'm in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes. But it's never been like, 'Amy, get your life together,'" the 24-year-old singer told Rolling Stone magazine.
The Grammy Award-winning recording artist also candidly discussed what it was like to have her husband Blake Fielder-Civil away in prison on assault charges.
"To be honest, my husband's away, I'm bored, I'm young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It's just been a low ebb," she said.
