Amy Poehler to guest host 'Saturday Night Live's season premiere

Amy Poehler is to serve as guest host of "Saturday Night Live's" 36th season premiere in New York, NBC said.

Poehler is a former cast member of the sketch comedy series.
The musical guest for the Sept. 25 edition of the show will be pop star Katy Perry.
Vanessa Bayer, Paul Brittain, Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah are expected to join the cast as featured players during the episode as well.
