America's Got Talent determined four additional fifth-season semifinalist acts during Wednesday night's live broadcast of the NBC reality competition series.

Taylor Mathews, a musician and singer from Alexandria, LA, Murray, a magician from Las Vegas, NV, and Prince Poppycock, an opera singer from Los Angeles, CA, were revealed to have finished as the Top 3 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show which featured the season's fourth group of 12 quarterfinalists performing for home viewer votes, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent fifth-season semifinals.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that hip-hop dance troupe Da Maniacs, musician and singer Mary Ellen, comedian Doogie Horner, circus acrobat Rudi Macaggi, singing group NU Covenant, musician and singer Lindsey Stirling, and dance crew Strikers All Stars had received the seven lowest home viewer vote totals in the group and would not be advancing.

The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fourth and fifth highest vote totals -- ArcAttack, a performing arts group from Austin, TX, or Anna and Patryk, a pair of child ballroom dancers from Hyde Park, NY and Woodside, NY -- should become the fourth act to advance to the semifinals.

"It's difficult, because you're both in your own way brilliant acts," Morgan said. "But I am going to go with my gut feeling about who I think has more to go in the competition -- who I think you can see more of.  And for that reason, I'm going to go with Anna and Patryk."

After hesitating for a bit, Mandel then cast his vote for the opposite act.

"First of all, you're both fantastic, and I hate this part of the show.  You two, Anna and Patryk, are wonderful, technical geniuses.  And you would win any contest you appear in, [but] I still have to question whether this is the contest -- will people go see you in Vegas?  When I think of ballroom dancing, adults go because it's kind of sexy and seductive, which I don't think is right for children.  In a ballroom dance contest as children, you would win," he said.

"[ArcAttack], I love going to concerts, I love going, it's exciting.  I don't know -- I watched last night, TV doesn't do you justice.  It's so powerful, you feel the electricity, it's real.  So I got to go with ArcAttack."

With the judges' voting tied, it was then up to Osbourne to cast the deciding vote.

"What do I do here?  You're both very different, both equally talented -- that's why you're both here.  Anna and Patryk, you know I've always been a fan of yours from Day 1.  I really respect your craft and how hard you work at it, and you are beyond your years -- way beyond your years -- at the standard you're at now," she said.

"ArcAttack, you know, I wasn't a fan in the beginning at all.  I didn't get it, but after I saw you perform live and we were all outside, I loved the way you handled the crowd.  I felt the strength and the drama of what you did and it really, really impressed me.  I still have no idea what it is, or how it works, it's over [my] head.  But I have made my decision, and I'm going to go with ArcAttack."

Next week, America's Got Talent's fifth-season semifinals will continue with performances from 12 acts that were selected via the show's YouTube auditions.  Eleven of the acts were selected by the judges while the twelfth will be the act that received the most votes from online voters.
